AKC Male German Shepherd in Ault Field, Washington For Sale

We took this guy in as a favor & as much as we want to keep him, he refuses to coexist with our other house dog (also an intact male). We can't have that kind of clashing with our daughter on the way.
He's a very sweet & social 6 year old male. Still intact. Up to date on shots etc. His bloodlines are actually pretty decent. Lots of Bad-Boll & V/VA rated dogs, his parents are both OFA'd. Nice solid structure, not over angulated or over sized. Black & red pigment. He will resource guard his food from other dogs so he needs to be fed in his crate away from others. Breed experience is a must. We've started foundation obedience & put a lot of work into him. Has a very nice recall. He is on a prey model raw diet & needs to remain on it, his system does not react well to kibble. He is very very social with people & most other dogs, we don't have cats so I can't answer that for you. Adores children. Very laid back in the house, but he'll hike happily for hours. Fully house trained, zero accidents. His last owner had a dog door that he was accustomed to using but he's adjusted very well to not having one here. Low prey drive, low toy drive, medium/high food drive & HIGH drive for praise. Easy to handle for grooming etc. Walks beautifully on a leash, he's a good jogging partner! Could easily be an apartment/condo suitable dog if adequately exercised.
As far as his price goes, we are firm. If you cannot afford it or don't want to pay, don't send me your sob story or tell me why you think he should be freely given to you. We are not in a hurry & not just anyone will even get to meet him. If we don't find the perfect new owners, he will happily stay here..we just want to give him the chance to rule his roost for the rest of his years. Please tell me about you, your living situation (YOU MUST OWN YOUR HOME) & your intentions. I will respond to promising ads with pictures etc. His full AKC papers will only go with highly qualified potential owners.
No active duty military, I'm sorry, but that's why we have him to begin with. It's not a prejudice, we're military too :) but too many are undedicated to what it takes to move around with pets & will get a new one/discard at every duty station. (We've moved around with our shepherds & Staffordshire Terrier/APBT, don't give me your excuse;).
